For those who have a high level. Here we highlight advanced technique, longer choreographies and communication between baile, cante and compás. The goal is to prepare students to dance on stage (both in groups and solo) to live music, and to find their own personal expression within dance.

WHAT IS FLAMENCO
On November 16, 2010, flamenco was declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Such significant recognition also highlights its national and international importance; It's no coincidence that there are more flamenco schools in Japan than in Spain! Flamenco is an authentic and unique art form that has its roots in Arab, Jewish, Gypsy and Andalusian cultures. It is an artistic expression resulting from the fusion of cante, baile, guitar and compás, called cante, baile, toque and compás respectively.
Over time, flamenco has spread and become a universal artistic manifestation.
In modern times it has also been mixed with Chinese culture (dancing with the shawl, for example), and Latin American culture (such as the guajira style and the integration of the cajón, a percussion instrument originally from Peru, but which is now a natural part of the flamenco scene).
Flamenco is constantly evolving! Today, flamenco is danced, sung and played all over the world, and thanks in no small part to the international attention it has received, flamenco has survived for hundreds of years. Respect, discipline and passion... are some of the generational values that our flamenco art shows off - and is in charge of transmitting.
Flamenco is not folk dance. It's mostly music. A legacy of rhythm that travels through singing, dancing and the guitar. But flamenco is also a way of life, an alternative way of seeing oneself, communicating and expressing oneself. In other words, flamenco is its own language and the dialogue is what occurs between the performers where all its musical and rhythmic elements play an equally important role. The whole show depends on this subtle dialogue, whether on the street or on stage.
Norway needs flamenco and flamenco needs Norway.
